Please be advised that, in coordination with BC Wildfire Service (BCWS), the District will be implementing a campfire ban effective at 12:00 PM (noon) on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

This ban applies to all open flames, including but not limited to:

• Campfires and beach fires
• Wood-burning saunas and outdoor appliances
• Pizza ovens and chimineas
• Tiki torches and similar devices

We appreciate your cooperation in helping to reduce wildfire risk in our region. Let’s stay safe and fire smart this summer.
